As partners in the TO-INN project, VU-researchers participated in the workshop in Quito, Ecuador, 7- 10 July 2019. The VU-team was represented by Anna Bon from the Centre of International Cooperation.
The aim of this workshop was to discuss ongoing joint research and continue the internal evaluation process of the project. The publication related to the Social Dimension and Inclusive Education were discussed in plenary.
Universitat de Barcelona, Coordinator of the project Alejandra Montané chaired the meeting. Hosts of the workshop were the TO-INN partner universities from Ecuador: Universidad Nacional de Educación, in Azogues, coordinated by Silverio González Tellez, the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí, in Manta Ciudad: Manta, coordinated by Doris Patricia Cevallos Zambrano, and the Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí, coordinated by Omelio Enrique Borroto Leal.
The TO-INN project is supported by a grant from the Erasmus+ Key Action 2 – Capacity building in the field of Higher Education of the European Union (573685-EPP-2016-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) https://www.toinn.org. The TO-INN project focuses on the challenges of Higher Education in providing inclusive education for all. This targets specifically students from less privileged sectors of society, from the perspective of Latin America.
